His journey from Project Manager to executive reflects a deep commitment to both professional growth and building strong project teams. In this spotlight, Felix shares what makes Therma stand out in the industry, how he empowers others through trust and support, and why meaningful connections—on the job and the golf course—keep him inspired.

1. You’ve spent over 14 years at Therma, progressing from Project Manager to Project Executive. What is the key to learning that you can share about your journey?

One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned in my journey is the importance of adaptability and communication. Projects rarely go exactly as planned, and being able to pivot quickly, make informed decisions under pressure, and keep the team aligned has been crucial. Effective communication, both with clients and internal teams, can often be the difference between a good project and a great one.

2. What’s one thing you think makes Therma stand out from competitors?

Our commitment to quality and flexibility is what truly sets us apart. We take pride in delivering work that meets the highest standards where every detail is considered to ensure exceptional results. Whether it’s adapting to shifting timelines, evolving project scopes, or specific client needs, we remain responsive, nimble, and solutions driven. The balance of maintaining the highest level of quality and adaptability allows us to build lasting partnerships and consistently exceed expectations.

3. As someone who’s earned leadership roles over the years, what is your approach to empowering employees?

I’ve learned that true empowerment comes from creating an environment of trust and vulnerability—reassuring them that they have the skills to succeed and will have support when challenges arise. I also make it a point to lead with vulnerability, sharing my own challenges and growth areas. This fosters a culture where team members feel comfortable taking risks, offering innovative ideas, and knowing they will not be judged for mistakes. By creating this space, employees feel more confident to step up, take ownership of their projects, and drive results.

4. What do you enjoy most about working at Therma?

Therma is the combination of constant growth and an incredible team. There is always something new, whether it’s a new complex project, an emerging technology, or innovative ideas and perspectives from a team member. The constant evolution, innovation, and fast pace of the clients we support keeps me engaged and constantly learning. At the same time, I am surrounded by a team that is not only highly skilled but genuinely supportive, which has made Therma the place I have grown both personally and professionally for 26 years.

5. We’ve heard that you love golf. What is your must-have item when you’re out on the course?

My must-have on the course is good company—family and friends. Golf is a great game, but it’s the wonderful conversations, laughs, and shared moments that really make it special for me. Whether we’re celebrating a great shot or laughing at a terrible one, it’s always better when I’m playing with the people I care about.
