Job Type: Full-time, In-Office. No Remote Option
Therma has an immediate need for an experienced Service Project Manager, to be based out of our San Jose office, who enjoys the challenge of unique designs, projects and deadlines. This position requires the ability to run jobs big and small, coordinate multiple jobs simultaneously, while also providing leadership to large project teams. The Service Project Manager works with customers to develop the scope of work, budgeting and estimating costs, and oversees the procurement of equipment and materials and is responsible for reviewing, reporting, and projecting all project costs. The position is responsible for managing project roles and identifying and coordinating resource requirements. The most important aspect of the job is to provide customer satisfaction. The Project Manager ensures effective communications and assures relationships between customers and project team members are maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains professional communications with co-workers and clients
- Makes sales contacts, researches customer needs and follows up on sales leads
- Develops and maintains relationships with clients, assures client satisfaction
- Meet established revenue and profit goals
- Attend client project meetings
- Establish, manage and provide leadership to job/project team
- Facilitates and troubleshoots problems associated with project
- Purchase materials and equipment as needed
- Maintains control and accurate projections of project costs
- Provides department leadership by example and mentoring
- Supports accountability for individual projects as well as MEP department in general
- Maintains and follows established Therma Project Management procedures
Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager in construction, particularly HVAC Service, Sheet Metal (Dry Side)
- Proficient on MS Office Suite
- Excellent oral/written communication skills
- Developed presentation skills

- The knowledge to identify existing plumbing that does not meet current plumbing code & provide estimates for corrective action.
- Knowledge with providing preventative maintenance for servicing storm, sewer, & grease waste line
- Knowledge of basic HVAC service & repair
- Ability to assist with providing quick estimates for HVAC service emergency work.
- Active Union member may apply and will be considered equally to Non-Union applicants for this position. Foreman, General Foreman, Superintendents are encouraged to apply for this Project Manager position. Field experience will be considered if a professional position has never been held.
Essential functions of the position include the ability to work in active construction site, walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working overhead, working in confined spaces and lifting objects. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal are required.

Compensation: $145k-$175k, depending on experience
