We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Developer to join our growing team in Media, PA. This role is ideal for a technically strong, client‑focused professional who thrives in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Project Developer, you will play a key role in shaping long‑range capital improvement plans and developing technical solutions for K‑12 and public sector clients. You will act as the technical lead with the client during planning and development, ensuring that each project is positioned for successful execution.

Your responsibilities will include:

Project Planning & Development:

  • Lead facility condition assessments and analyze building systems to identify deficiencies while actively engaging stakeholders to gather valuable input
  • Develop and evaluate technical solutions to remediate deficiencies, ensuring alignment with client requirements
  • Prepare budget estimates, prioritize needs, and build long‑range capital improvement plans in collaboration with the project team
  • Develop clear, comprehensive preliminary and final reports for client review

Client Partnership & Collaboration:

  • Serve as the project team lead during the planning and development phases
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and relationship‑building activities
  • Provide high‑quality communication and responsive support throughout the project lifecycle

Technical Oversight & Support:

  • Guide survey teams of engineers, architects, and facility experts
  • Develop implementation strategies for the plan utilizing multiple delivery methods
  • Lead the turnover process from development to construction teams
  • Support the creation of drawings, specifications, and construction phasing plans
  • Review cost estimates at key design milestones
  • Assist with RFPs, Invitations to Bid, and public bidding processes

Cross‑Team & Business Support:

  • Contribute to business development efforts and client engagement initiatives
  • Participate in professional organizations and trade events
  • Maintain organized workflows, strong documentation, and high‑quality deliverables

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering, construction, or facility operations
  • Broad knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, architectural, site, etc.)
  • Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and client communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel to project sites; valid driver’s license required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with BlueBeam and Excel‑based analysis a plus
