Seeking a Senior Level Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead innovative, green projects in a top engineering firm.

Salary: $124,800-$183,040

General Responsibilities:

P2S is seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer with experience in consulting engineering. The position is responsible for designing the heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing systems of buildings for bidding and construction. This position will work with a team of engineers to design the mechanical aspects of energy-efficient buildings for various clients of P2S. Our ideal candidate is typically a self-motivated individual who thrives on helping clients and has a strong technical background. We anticipate they will be involved in all phases of the project.

Position Requirements

  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE License)
  • 10+ years of engineering design and project management experience
  • Experience with all aspects of HVAC and Plumbing Design
  • Experience with design-build projects.
  • Experience performing energy studies, audits, and analysis.
  • Involved with Working knowledge of the Clean Buildings Law, HB1390, and Climate Action Plan.
  • Experience and knowledge of the state and local codes.
  • Comfortable and willing to present complex engineering concepts to clients, industry partners, and other staff.

Education & Certification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License is a plus
  • EIT preferred with potential for PE
  • Additional certifications are a plus
