Position Overview

Bel‑Aire Mechanical, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the successful execution of mechanical construction projects from an operational perspective. This role partners closely with field leadership, project managers, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

The Project Manager focuses on day‑to‑day project operations, including cost control, scheduling, coordination, and issue resolution, while supporting project teams in meeting customer expectations, safety standards, and financial targets.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the operational execution of assigned projects, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost controls are consistently maintained
  • Partner with Project Managers and field leadership to support construction activities, staffing plans, and workflow coordination
  • Monitor and track project budgets, cost forecasts, and schedules, identifying risks and variances early
  • Assist with preparation and review of change orders, project documentation, and operational communications
  • Coordinate internally with field teams, operations, purchasing, and support departments to ensure timely project delivery
  • Communicate key project information to site teams, vendors, and subcontractors as needed
  • Participate in client meetings and internal project reviews to support alignment and issue resolution
  • Be present on job sites during active construction and critical operational milestones
  • Facilitate and troubleshoot operational issues, including technical challenges, schedule impacts, and cost risks
  • Promote consistent application of company standards, safety requirements, and best practices across projects

 

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting mechanical construction operations, with knowledge of commercial HVAC systems and project delivery environments such as healthcare, data centers, and manufacturing.

General Requirements

  • Working knowledge of mechanical construction operations, including estimating support, scheduling, and cost control
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documentation
  • Familiarity with Arizona code requirements and standard construction practices
  • Experience supporting budget tracking, forecasting, risk identification, and operational coordination
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with field teams, project leadership, and external partners


Specific Requirements

  • Construction Management degree and/or equivalent professional experience
  • 7–10+ years of construction experience, including experience supporting project or operations management
  • Strong ability to operate independently while exercising sound judgment on when to escalate or collaborate with leadership

 

Work Environment

  • Regular presence on active job sites is required during construction phases and critical operational periods
  • Other duties may be assigned to support project delivery and operational objectives
