The Marketing Specialist position is a Full-Time, in-person position located in our San Diego, CA Office. This role is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies to drive qualified leads and support business growth across the Southern California market. Working with the Marketing Manager, this position balances strategic business development support, digital marketing, and content creation. This role will strengthen the company’s brand positioning and expand our reach within the construction, fabrication, and service sectors in San Diego, Santa Ana, and Los Angeles.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collaborate with the Marketing Manager, business development, and leadership teams to develop and execute initiatives that align with regional growth goals. Serve as the primary point of contact for sales proposals originating from the Santa Ana office.

· Support the Marketing Manager in upholding and applying the company’s brand guidelines across all office locations.

· Conduct ongoing market research, competitor analysis, and SWOT assessments to identify industry trends and new business opportunities.

· Support regional expansion efforts through targeted marketing campaigns tailored to specific service sectors and territories.

· Develop high-impact marketing content, including professional proposals, presentations, case studies, and other marketing assets.

· Ensure consistent brand messaging and standards are maintained across all internal and external marketing channels.

· Design and produce diverse marketing assets, including flyers, handouts, and branded collateral, to support sales outreach.

· Produce and optimize website content, including building new pages and content marketing while improving SEO and user engagement ratings.

· Track and analyze KPIs (lead generation, pipeline activity, proposal win rates, and engagement metrics)

· Leverage Google Analytics and social media insights to refine campaign performance and improve digital ROI.

· Plan and execute comprehensive social media content calendars, including creative asset production and caption writing.

· Coordinate, capture, and edit jobsite photography and videography to highlight company projects and culture.

· Produce short- and long-form video content and high-quality imagery using Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom).

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to plan and support company events, trade shows, and client engagement initiatives across San Diego, Santa Ana, and Los Angeles.

· Coordinate event logistics, including the selection and distribution of branded giveaways, marketing collateral, and promotional materials.

· Execute post-event marketing campaigns, utilizing captured media to create engaging content for the website and social platforms.

· Maintain and organize centralized marketing asset libraries, including photo/video archives and branded materials.

· Support internal and external communications, including company announcements and the distribution of monthly/quarterly newsletters.

· Perform additional strategic or administrative tasks as required by management to ensure the successful functioning of the Marketing department.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This role has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

· Minimum 1–2 years of professional experience (internships or junior-level roles) in business, communications, and/or marketing.

· Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite Applications, Video & Motion Program(s), and Microsoft Office and Applications

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to draft, edit, and proofread internal and external communications with a high degree of accuracy and professional tone. Proficiency in communicating creative concepts and project updates to diverse internal teams and external vendors. Skill in interpreting complex or technical information and converting it into clear, accessible messaging for various audiences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts to manage project budgets, inventory levels, and departmental expenses.

REASONING ABILITY

Strong reasoning skills to identify logistical challenges and implement efficient solutions for event planning and resource distribution. Capacity to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. Ability to identify and resolve "on-the-fly" issues during live events or production deadlines (e.g., file formatting errors or shipping delays).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to navigate active jobsites safely while carrying camera equipment to capture project progress and high-quality. Frequent manual dexterity for a high level of precision for digital design work, as well as physical tasks like assembling event displays, organizing merchandise, and preparing "swag" kits.
