Electrical Project Manager

Legence is seeking an Electrical Project Manager with experience designing and managing complex electrical systems across a wide range of commercial projects. This role will report to the Electrical Division Manager and is responsible for estimating, designing, managing, and delivering projects with a strong emphasis on client satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, organized, and solutions-oriented, with excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, clients, and design partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Estimate and secure electrical work for commercial construction projects
  • Lead design-build efforts in accordance with NEC and all applicable electrical codes
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle from preconstruction through closeout
  • Ensure project completion meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Plan and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and tools for each project
  • Negotiate and manage subcontractor scope using standard subcontract agreements
  • Conduct site surveys and field verifications as needed
  • Stay current with codes, technology, and industry best practices
  • Provide support on customer service-related issues as needed
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a technical field preferred; Bachelor’s degree a plus
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in electrical design and/or project management required
  • CAD proficiency is a plus
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Project, and electronic estimating tools
  • Experience with Accubid estimating software strongly preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required
