Electrical Intern

Position: Full-Time, In-Office

Gilbert Mechanical is seeking an Electrical Intern to support our project management team and gain hands-on experience in commercial electrical construction. This role provides exposure to electrical construction projects while working alongside project managers, estimators, engineers, and field personnel.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers with the planning and coordination of construction projects.
Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
Support estimating efforts with takeoffs and cost analysis.
Help track project schedules, materials, budgets, and documentation.
Attend job walks, project meetings, and site visits.
Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence.
Support project teams in maintaining safety and quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
